Heroes, tradespersons & government employees honored with free admission

Two days during the February 21-23, 2025 Capital Remodel + Garden Show at Dulles Expo Center have been designated to honor important segments of the Washington, DC population with free admission as our way to show our appreciation for what they do to enrich our community.

On Friday, February 21st, we honor our local heroes with free admission granted to active duty military, veterans, fire, police and first responders with a valid ID.

On Sunday, February 23rd, we tip our hat to the men and women in the construction trades without whom none of our construction-related exhibitors and sponsors could maintain a business. All home construction-related tradespersons or members of an affiliated association or organization will be granted free admission by showing a form of valid identification. That ID can be a business card, an association membership card or an employee identification card.

Also on Sunday, February 23rd, we will honor those who work for the local, state and Federal Government with free admission. Government employees or contractors may simply show a valid federal ID at the box office to receive a complimentary ticket.

Another special day for locals is Friday, February 21, when showing a Metro Bus Pass, Smart Trip Card or Transit Link Card allows one free admission to the pass-holder.
